I have always had a passion for the arts. From photography, to painting, to design.
As a kid I dreamed of one day having a family and doing a job that I loved. When my daughter came along in April 2012 I realised I had fulfilled one, but the other was still up for grabs. Thanks to a few friends from my antenatal class who let me borrow their beautiful babies, my dream job is now becoming a reality.
The love really started in highschool, where I was introduced to my first camera and Photoshop. I enjoyed spending hours analysing and manipulating my artwork with different mediums, experimenting and taking risks. I had plans to attend art school…
But those plans quickly changed when I met my Scottish husband, David. I put my life on hold and moved to the UK at the age of 19. Living in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and then Groningen in The Netherlands. It was in Groningen my husband bought me my first SLR. We travelled the world and my camera went with me every step of the way.
So here I am 5 years later back home in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Added two more little girls to the mix and doing my dream job.
